Activity Overview

Students will be involved in an action-packed programme of age-appropriate adventure activities and fun challenges. Whilst the exact activites are not finalised until 4-6 weeks out from camp, below are examples of what the students can expect.

Aeroball, Leap of Faith, Possum Glider, Sensory Trail, raft building, low ropes, Centipede and Giant swing to name just a few)

The activities are all chosen and designed to help students interact, to create new friendships and build connections with teachers that will benefit their learning and your teaching when you’re back in the classroom.

There will also be a day trip to Movie World on the Wednesday. Students will be transported from Kindilan to Movie World and back again via Bus transport.

Students will not have the opportunity to purchase items from Movie World. Lunch will be provided and has been organised with the group booking. We ask that you do not send money with your child to Movie World.

What to Bring

Families will need to provide a packed morning tea and lunch including a water bottle for the trip to Brisbane.

Please have this packed in a backpack which will be their carry on luggage.

Please ensure that all items are clearly labelled with your student's name.

Adequate warm clothing should be provided as this camp is being held in winter.

If your student suffers from travel sickness, a consent to administer medication form along with travel sickness medication with the doctor/pharmacy label may be prudent.

As we are now flying to camp, we have requested the linen package for students. Students will no longer need to bring pillow, sheets or blanket.

Please keep in mind the cool weather when packing clothes for your student.
